Regulatory Compliance

OSHA and the EPA require that any facility that has 10,000 lbs. or more of ammonia inventory in their system have in place a Process Safety Management Program (PSM), and a Risk Management Plan, (RMP). Those with less than 10,000 pounds have specific responsibilities to maintain a safe system as outlined in the General Duty Clause.

The Louis A. Roser Company can fully develop a comprehensive PSM, RMP, or General Duty Clause plan tailored to fit your facility.

Safety

The Louis A. Roser Company has an unconditional commitment to  safety. The guide to safety of an ammonia process relates specifically to the mechanical functions and associated equipment incorporated in the system. There are numerous items within the ammonia process, which require constant observation and preventative maintenance to insure personnel safety, systems safety, and product integrity. Each and every component of the refrigeration process requires routine checking, cleaning and on occasion, possible replacement. Safety begins with the design and installation process and continues with the every day operations and maintenance of the refrigeration process. You can be assured that when our work is completed, you the customer will have an installation and system that operates at peak efficiencies and safety based on present industry standards and regulations.
