

Project Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the design and installation of industrial refrigeration systems. You will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver technically sound, efficient, and successful projects. This role offers early-career engineers valuable experience in both office and field settings.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform engineering calculations, including heat load, mass-energy balances, piping analysis, pressure relief, and psychrometrics.
· Design systems, including equipment selection, layout, and piping.
· Work with Senior Engineers, CAD Drafters, and construction/service teams.
· Support estimating and sales efforts while building strong customer relationships.
· Coordinate with suppliers, general contractors, and other trades.
· Track project schedules, costs, and documentation.
· Manage projects from bid through completion in both office and field environments.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field (completed or in final year).
· 1–3 years of relevant experience (co-op/internship experience accepted).
· Solid understanding of mechanical and thermal systems.
· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with refrigeration, HVAC, or thermal systems.
· Familiarity with ASHRAE, IIAR, and other industry standards.
